Setup & Important Notes

1. First Launch

On first launch, the app will ask for permissions:

  • Bluetooth (device connection)
  • Location (required for BLE scanning)
  • Notifications (important alerts)

⚠️ All permissions must be enabled for reliable connection.

2. Android Battery (Very Important)

On Android, battery optimization can interrupt Bluetooth.

👉 Set the app to unrestricted:

  • Settings → Apps → CatchClicker → Battery → No restrictions
  • Samsung: add to Never sleeping apps

⚠️ Otherwise, live data may disconnect during sessions.

3. Account

You must be signed in to use the app.

  • Login with Google or email
  • Access sessions and history across devices

4. Pairing (First Time Only)

Before pairing:

  • Device ON
  • Bluetooth ON
  • Location ON

Steps:

  1. Open app → tap Connect
  2. Select your CatchClicker PRO
  3. Hold Power (1s) → get 6-digit code
  4. Enter code in app

✅ After pairing, the app reconnects automatically.
